The Collaboration behind Boone Collab Studio

One of my favorite parts of creating at Boone Collab Studio happens before the camera ever comes out. I genuinely enjoy collaborating with the models and talent I work with and hearing their ideas, interests, and creative vision. Every person brings something different to a shoot, and I love finding ways to build the concept around their individual style and look. Sometimes we start with a complete idea, while other times the entire shoot can grow from one piece of clothing, a particular aesthetic, a location, or even a single image that sparks an idea. I’ll often put together mood boards with wardrobe, lighting, poses, and overall visual direction, but those ideas are really just the starting point.

That free-flowing approach is a big part of why I call it Boone Collab Studio. The goal isn't to simply show up and recreate the same type of photos over and over. It's about creating something together. Ideas change, new ones come up during the shoot, and sometimes the best images are the ones that weren't planned at all. I love taking an idea from that first conversation and mood board all the way through the shoot and eventually seeing the finished photos and videos come together. Every collaboration is a little different, and that's what keeps the creative process exciting for me. The mood boards are a small glimpse into that process—and a look at how an idea can evolve into something completely original.
